MUSICmiles™ collects information on collector activity though user-generated submissions, navigation and the use of tools and functions available on the Website. This information is processed and stored in secure and confidential databases in Toronto, Ontario. Yamaha does not give, rent or sell collector lists from the MUSICmiles™ Reward Programme to any organization our individual other than business units of Yamaha and companies contracted to process and manage collector transaction records, redemption requests and communications. Information collected may only be used for the specified purposes of the MUSICmiles™ Reward Programme as outlined below:
- To administer MUSICmiles™ Reward Programme, including the management of collector accounts, and to accurately record and update reward balances;
- To process collector redemptions, including the issuance of redemption certificates;
- To communicate information and offers to collectors, and dealers;
- To understand and analyze collectors’ responses, needs and preferences;
- To develop, enhance, market and/or provide products and service to meet those needs; and
- To enable collectors to participate in special promotions and contests.

Yamaha may disclose your Personal Information as permitted or required by law. For example, Yamaha will disclose Personal Information to those governmental bodies who have authority to obtain it, in order to comply with a warrant or subpoena issued by a court of competent jurisdiction, and to comply with record production requirements.
In the event of a sale of all or substantially all of the assets of the Yamaha, Yamaha may transfer Personal Information in its control to a third party purchaser agreeing to use Personal Information for the same reasons identified in this Privacy Policy. |
